Type of Service
We offer UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS 3 Day Select and UPS Ground service. You can select the service you prefer. If we determine a different service is needed, we will email or call to get your approval and charge your credit card for the difference. If you have an account number, we will be glad to use your account.
Normally, all packages can be shipped ground service Monday through Friday except during warm weather. May through September packages are shipped on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays ground service. Packages have to be delivered by Friday so they will not set on the truck over the weekend.
When temperatures are above 75 degrees, you should select a cooler for shipping. We ship with gel packs and a cooler bag for free. The gel packs are used to keep the chocolate from melting during shipping. (3 days maximum time) We cannot guarantee the package if left at the door. Once the chocolate is delivered, it should be brought in immediately and store in a cool room. This will allow any product that may have gotten soft to return to normal. Placing warm chocolate in the refrigerator would cause the chocolate to turn white. It does not affect the taste but affects the look. States outside of a 3 day ship are WA, OR, CA, UT, NV, AZ, ID, MT, WY need to select UPS 3 day shipping during hot weather.
Where We Ship
We ship within United States and Canada. Canadian duties and taxes will be due upon delivery and paid by the customer. As rates vary by province, we are unable to estimate these charges for you. UPS requires a physical address.
All packages are left at the door unless you request for a signature. A UPS shipping confirmation will be sent when your order ships.
We determine the number of days for delivery from the UPS map below. So we can not guarantee a package will delivery on time because UPS is a estimated delivery. UPS guarantees Next Day and 2nd Day Air. UPS definition of guarantee means if it is not delivered on time they will refund your shipping costs only. We are not responsible for late deliveries when shipment is given to carrier on time. We encourage you to place your order and receive your chocolate 1 to 2 weeks before your event.
